For example, reporters are required to file full transcripts and contact information for every single interview they conduct with a source. The transcripts, source contact information, and the research notes for the articles are collected into an online database. Copyeditors then use this database to fact-check the stories. This database is also available to our clients, who have as much – or as little – insight into the editorial process as they desire.
